Sdl trados studio free download - My SDL Trados, SDL Component Suite (RadStudio XE, Delphi XE, C++Builder XE), SDL Component Suite (RadStudio 7, Delphi 2010, C++Builder 2010), and many more programs. Jun 16, 2017 I am just writing to express my frustration and disappointment that Trados 2017 is again not available for Mac. Again we have to work with Parallels or sth. Like that, which makes the hole computer slow, just to can work with Trados. This is very disappointing. I mean, we write the year 2017 now, you can go on with denying Apple, but it is just better than Windows - much more save, much more reliable and at least much faster. I just ask me, why it isn't possible to create a Mac-Version of Trados? Bootcamp Jun 16, 2017 Thank you very much for your answer. I tried it ones with bootcamp, and you are right, it is (at least) not that slow as paralles. But the point is, you still have to use windows with all it's errors and troubles with administrator rights etc. ![]() I never owned a Windows version without problems. Everytime something is going wrong after 4-5 months. It is just so annoying to work with this system. And I really can't understand, why the biggest CAT-tool is not creating a version for Apple - a system, which works. Annette Bredewold wrote: Thank you very much for your answer. According to and data, it looks like the Win-macOS market share ratio could be something like 7-10:1, so that's probably why. That also seems to indicate that people using Windows are actually able to survive and work without encountering apocalyptic consequences on a daily basis, contrary to what someone may believe and despite all of Windows' horrors and shortcomings. It makes my life not easy at all. This link might give you some answers I am running SDL Studio 2017 with Windows 7 Professional. It is fast, stable and I love it (both Studio and Windows). ![]() Why should SDL produce a version for a minority, there is nothing in it to win for them. Just get a tool that works on a MAC and be happy. [Edited at 2017-06-16 17:18 GMT]. Heinrich Pesch wrote: and make your life easy. Keep the mac for dtp and graphics stuff. No offence intended. I have a fairly new PC (1 year) with the latest Windows version, and it works very nice. It is fast - I suspect as fast as a Mac these days, since it has a 0.5 TB SSD disk. To get a fair comparison between a Mac and a Windows PC the systems have to be comparable. Comparing a 5 year old Windows PC that is half the price of a 1 year old Mac would not be very fair when you compare how they work. That said I do prefer a Mac, partly because it has less needs of antivirus (although these days the main reason would probably be because there are so many more Windows PCs than Macs so organised crime isn't as interested in infesting Macs as they are Windows), and partly because a Mac in many ways are more user friendly than Windows. The registry is a very bad idea on the part of Microsoft, and my impression is that Apple had a much better decision there. Visual studio for mac install. Windows 7 Jun 18, 2017 Thank you very much for the advice. But I have Windows 7 Professional on my laptop - a complete disaster - crashing all the time. May be it just doesn't work with SDL Trados Studio 2015, I have no idea. But it just doesn't work. Slow, unstable, every month new errors.
